the Ancient Civilisations Museum and Ataturk’s Mausoleum.
This afternoon we continue for our night stop in the
surreal land of Cappadocia.
Day 3 – 20th April: Cappadocia Tour (B)
Today we visit Zelve open-air museum, Uchisar Castle
and Derinkuyu Underground city on our guided tour of
Cappadocia. We will marvel at the phallic-like structures
of this truly one of a kind region. This evening we
have the option of visiting a traditional Turkish Folklore
evening featuring belly and folk dancers.
Day 4 – 21st April: Cappadocia to Pamukkale via Konya

calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) for our
night stop.

used in times gone by. We will also visit the House
of the Virgin Mary and Cave of the Seven Sleepers. This
evening we rest in Kusadasi.
Day 6 – 23rd April: Kusadasi to Gallipoli via

the quaint village of Bergama where we stop for lunch
and partake in a tour of the Ruins of Pergamon. We continue
driving north for Gallipoli, our night stop, where we
catch our first glimpse of the Dardenelles.
Day 7 – 24th April: Gallipoli Tour (B + LB)
Today, on our fully guided tour, we will visit Lone
Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials (the Australian and New
Zealand Memorials respectively), the Nek, Johnston’s
Jolly, Anzac Cove and the Anzac Museum. Our guide will
reveal stories of battle woes and will bring alive the
legend of the Anzac’s. This evening we rest early for
the big day ahead.
Day 8 – 25th April: ANZAC Day at Gallipoli (B + LB
+ BBQ)
We rise in the early hours in preparation for the memorial
services at Gallipoli. We start the day with the Dawn
Service held at the Anzac Commemorative Site, which
will be followed by the Australian and New Zealand memorial
services held at Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair respectively.
Today is the reason we came to Turkey, to commemorate
the sacrifice our forefathers made. Emotions run high
and this evening we may wish to partake in a few games
of two-up during our BBQ!
